When the heart knows before the mind. Intuition is not something only a few people have. It’s a spiritual gift built into all of us. The more we honor it, the stronger it becomes. It you ever felt a “nudge” that turned out to be right, you’ve experienced intuition. Trust it. Practice it. Let it guide you back to center, again and again. And remember: the first thought should always be love. – Cherry, Founder of Lovefull Thoughts.

We live in a noisy world. Full of opinions, information, and endless distractions. Yet beneath all of that, each of us carries a quiet compass inside. It’s not logic. It’s something deeper. It’s intuition.
For me, intuition has been more than just a “gut feeling”. It has been a whisper from the higher part of myself, connected to the Creator, guiding me toward choices that align with love, peace, and truth. And I believe intution is not just a personal tool. It’s a spiritual gift available to all of us.
Today i’m taking a deeper look at what intuition really is, how it shows up, how to tell it apart from fear, and how to develop it in a way that honors love above all else.
What is intuition on a Spiritual Level
Intuition is the ability to know something without needing step-by-step evidence. It’s the gentle voice of your higher self, or what some people call Spirit, that reveals truth in a simple, clear way.
Unlike the racing mind, intuition doesn’t argue or explain. It speaks in feelings, impressions, images, or a sudden sense of “this is right”. It’s not dramatic. It’s steady. It arrives almost fully formed, already whole.
On a spiritual level, intuition is how the soul communicates with the human self. It’s the thread that connects us to divine.
Why Intuition is a Gift
Intuition isn’t random. It’s a gift given for your good and the good of others.
- It Protects: Sometimes intuition gives a warning before you walk into harm.
- It Aligns: It points you toward paths that match your soul’s purpose.
- It Connects: It allows you to sense truth beyond words in relationships and situations.
- It Creates: Many ideas, works of art, and inventions arrive as intuitive downloads.
When treated with care, intuition becomes a way of living in flow with life instead of fighting against it.
How Intuition Shows Up
The language of intuition is subtle. You may notice:
- A sudden inner “knowing” that doesn’t come from THINKING.
- A physical sensation. Warmth in your chest, tug in your stomach, or goosebumps.
- Inner imagery or flashes that come and go quickly. (That’s me)
- A calm certainty that feels like a quiet yes.
One of the best ways to grow trust in your intuition is to keep a simple journal: write down what you felt, just keep note of it. keep note of what you did, and what happened. Over time, patterns emerge and your trust grows. because i promise you will see that it was correct.
Intuition vs. Fear
Sometimes people confuse intuition with fear. Here’s the difference:
- Fear: loud and repetitive, and urgent. It tightens your body and often speaks in “what if” loops.
- Intuition: Is gentle, simple, and calm. It doesn’t demand; it nudges. t often comes once, clear and complete.
If you’re unsure, take a pause.
Breathe.
Ask for clarity. Intuition will stay steady. Fear will escalate.
Practices to Develop Intuition
Like any gift, intuition grows stronger with use. Here are a few simple ways to practice:
- Pause before reacting. Take a breath and ask: “What feels true right now?”
- Check your body. Your body often registers intuitive messages before the mind does.
- Create stillness.Even five minutes a day of quiet time clears the static.
- Ask for a sign. Spirit often confirms in gentle, synchronistic ways.
- Test small. Practice on everyday choices (like which route to drive).
Using Intuition with Integrity
Intuition is powerful. But it”s not meant to control others. Always:
- Share insights gently, not as absolute truth.
- Check your own motives (is it love or ego?)
- Pair intuition with wisdom and discernment.
When used with humility, intuition can bless not only your path but those around you.
When Intuition Feels Blocked
There may be times when intuition feels far away. This often happens when you’re tired, overstimulated, or caught in fear. That doesn’t mean it’s gone. It simply means you need to slow down, rest, and clear the noise. Intuition always returns when the heart is ready to listen.
